01 · What we paint

Six things we do, all of them well.

We don't dabble in roofing or remodels. Paint is the only thing we sell and the only thing we'll quote. That's why the finish lasts.

01

Interior Repaints

Full-room or whole-home interior. We move furniture, mask trim, cut clean lines, and clean up the same day.

02

Exterior Painting

Cedar, T1-11, fiber-cement, stucco. Pressure-washed, primed, and finished in the short AK summer window.

03

Cabinets & Trim

Kitchen cabinets sprayed in a controlled enclosure. Doors removed, sanded, finished, rehung level.

04

Commercial & Office

After-hours and weekend work for storefronts, offices, and rentals so your business never closes.

05

Decks & Fences

Stained, sealed, or solid-color finish. Cleaned and prepped before any coat touches wood.

06

Drywall Repair & Prep

Patches, texture matching, crack repair, and full prep before paint. The reason the finish lasts.

02 · The work

Clean lines.
Same-day cleanup.

Every job is the same checklist: walk the space, document the prep, mask trim and floors, prime where it matters, two finish coats minimum, fix the punch list before the truck leaves. We photograph the finished work and send you the file — it's how we stand behind the warranty.

03 · Where we paint

South-Central Alaska.

Based in South Anchorage, ten minutes from the Dimond corridor. Most weeks we're working somewhere between the Hillside and JBER — call us about anything along the rail belt.

04 · Who we are

A small crew.
One standard.

Best Youngs Paint is a small, locally-owned painting crew based at 250 E 120th Ave in South Anchorage. We're the people who pick up the phone, walk your house, and put a roller on your wall — there's no call-center, no franchise, no subcontracting the messy parts.

We do one trade. We arrive when we said we would. We mask before we paint. We clean up before we leave. And if something isn't right two months later, we drive back and fix it.

That's the whole pitch.

05 · Common questions

The questions we get on the phone.

Direct answers. If something isn't here, just call and ask — we'd rather talk it through than make you fill out a form.

How much does a paint job cost in Anchorage?

Interior repaints typically run $3–$6 per square foot of wall area depending on prep, ceiling height, and number of colors. Cabinet refinishing starts around $3,500 for a standard kitchen. We give a written, line-item quote after a free in-person walk-through — no guessing over the phone.

How fast can you start?

Interior work: usually within 1–2 weeks. Exterior in summer: book early — the dry-weather window in South-Central AK is short and we fill May–August fast. Call now to hold a slot.

What areas do you cover?

Anchorage, Eagle River, Chugiak, the Hillside, South Anchorage, JBER, and Girdwood. Valley jobs (Palmer/Wasilla) on request for larger projects.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We carry general liability and workers' comp on every job. License and insurance certificate available on request before any work starts — ask for it on the walk-through.

What paint brands do you use?

Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore as the default. We'll spec the right line for the job — Emerald or Aura for high-traffic, Cashmere for trim, Duration for exterior — and price each option in the quote.

Do you guarantee the work?

Yes. Two-year workmanship warranty on interior, one-year on exterior. If the finish fails because of how we applied it, we come back and fix it.

Can you work in winter?

Interior, yes — that's actually our busiest season. Heated, ventilated, low-VOC products so the house stays livable. Exterior pauses October–April.

Do I have to move my furniture?

No. We move and re-cover everything in the work area. You don't lift a thing.
